Below is a list of what can be accepted in the recycling bins.

Paper
Newspaper, magazines, catalogues (not hardback) and paper. You can include letters, flyers, leaflets and white envelopes without windows (no brown envelopes, plastic coated paper or bound documents). Old telephone directories can also be recycled.

Glass Bottles & Jars

Glass bottles and jars are 100% recyclable and can be reused indefinitely without losing its quality, making it one of the best products to recycle. Place glass in the black caddy at the top og the bin.

Plastic Bottles
Place plastic bottles in main part of the bin. Please remove the tops.

Food and Drink Cans. Clean foil.

Both aluminium and steel cans are extremely valuable and can be recycled into new cans.

Household Textiles

Place in a tied plastic container.

Household Batteries

You must ensure all batteries are placed in the black caddy at the top of the recycling bin and placed in their own carrier bag (a small clear sandwich bag is ideal).

These materials can also be recycled at most Recycling Points and Centres.
